Ingredients:
- 200 g chicken thigh fillet
- 1 cup corn flour
- 4 dried chili (deseed and cut into halves)
- 2 garlic cloves (minced)
- 1 tsp minced fresh ginger
- oil for deep frying
Marinade:
- 2 tbsp light soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1 egg
Sauce:
- 1 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tsp rice vinegar
- 1 tbsp light soy sauce
- 2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp cornstarch
- ½ tsp chicken stock powder
- 4 tbsp cold water
How to:
- marinate the chicken for at least 15 minutes
- dust the marinated chicken with corn flour and deep fry till golden brown. Set aside
- heat 1 tbsp oil in a frying pan for 1 minute. Add in garlic, ginger, and chili. Stir till fragrant
- add in the sauce and stir till thicken
- add in the deep-fried chicken and toss till evenly covered with sauce
- serve for 2
